New York Urban Orchards planted the Albany Urban Orchard 5 years ago in Washington Park and the trees have been growing strong year after year. On Tuesday, May 9, community members gathered for the Urban Orchard’s 5th Anniversary. This fundraising event supports New York Urban Orchards and its mission of planting and maintaining apple orchards in urban areas in the State of New York, educating communities, and providing public access to New York agritourism destinations.
