The mission of CivMix has been built on giving community voices and news a platform. And in the past 18 months of CivMix’s existence, we’re pleased with the progress we’ve taken – organically growing with an expanding audience of curious, informed, and community-committed readers and fans.
Today, we’re proud to expand upon that vision with the introduction of CivMix Voices, a blog platform to allow for influential newsmakers and everyday people to tell their own stories. We’re excited to launch this new platform with our first two bloggers who are coming on board: Assemblymember John T. McDonald III and Assemblymember Patricia Fahy. We’ll be announcing new additions to CivMix Voices in the coming days and weeks.
With any community forum, we want to keep the conversations dynamic, yet respectful. Think of our comments and the posts as if you’re having some friends over for dinner and are engaging in a lively, spirited discussion. Treat each other as if you would a guest in your home.
