One of the largest formal events in the Capital Region has been postponed a second time, according to its organizers.
The Capital Region Chamber announced that it will postpone their annual dinner again, now scheduled for Sept. 22. The dinner, in which draws over 1,000 business leaders from across the region, was originally scheduled for March 26 at the Albany Capital Center. Organizers then postponed the event to June 17 earlier this month.
Events across the Capital Region have either been cancelled or postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak – from fundraisers, concerts, and festivals. Recently, the City of Albany announced that their annual Tulip Festival, scheduled for May 8 to 10, will be postponed.
Tickets, priced at $180, will be transferred to the new date.
