Need something to do on this last Friday of spring? The Capital Craft Beverage Trail, the group of more than 40 craft beverage producers in the Capital Region, will host Drink Saratoga tonight (Friday, June 14) from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Saratoga Automobile Museum inside Saratoga Spa State Park.

This is the second Drink Saratoga to take place, with the CCBT organizing “Drink” events in Albany and Schenectady in past years.

A portion of Drink Saratoga’s proceeds will benefit the Regional Food Bank and Common Roots Brewing, the Glens Falls brewery that had a devastating fire in March. From the press release:

“We are honored to assist our friends and neighbors Common Roots and to support the important work of the Food Bank. We are also thrilled to welcome many of the 200-plus devoted CCBT supporters who completed their 2018 Passports and are enjoying free admission to this event,” said Daniel Kravitz, CCBT board member, event chair for Drink Saratoga, and general manager of Artisanal Brew Works.

General admission tickets, which include a souvenir sample glass and full tastings of vendors present, are $30 and available on the CCBT website. General admission tickets, should quantities remain, will be $40 at the door. Designated driver tickets are $5 and will be available at the door.

We have a pair of tickets to giveaway for tonight’s event. In the comments below, let us know what your favorite locally produced beverage to have on a hot, summer day. We’ll select the winner at random by 1 p.m. – tickets will be available at will call at the museum.
